Adult Samoan 1C is an 8-week online course designed for beginners who are ready to confidently start speaking Samoan in a supportive, culturally grounded space. Whether you’ve grown up around the language or you’re starting from scratch, this course meets you where you are—and walks with you step by step.

You won’t just be learning words—you’ll be learning how to belong.

Each week, you’ll join a live online class led by native Samoan-speaking teachers who bring the language to life through real conversations, correct pronunciation, and cultural context you simply can’t get from an app. This is your chance to learn the why behind the words, not just the words themselves.

Over 8 weeks, you’ll build a strong foundation:

• Learn to signify disagreement

• Understand using adjectives

• Practice using prepositions and verbs in simple commands

• Get clear on locating objects or people

• Discover counting, ordinal numbers and calculations in Samoan

• Grow your confidence speaking in a safe, encouraging environment

• Reinforce everything with guided revision

This course is perfect for anyone aged 13+ who wants to reconnect with their culture, communicate with family, or simply feel more confident identifying as Samoan.

By the end of the 8 weeks, you won’t just know Samoan—you’ll feel it.

All Class times are advertised in Australian Eastern Standard Time as well as some of the more suited time zones (see table below).

Classes begin week starting October 26th. Each class will only be confirmed if there are at least 6 people max 10. If your choice does not have enough participants we will email you and offer another day/time or a refund.
